Inclement weather conditions caused a vehicle to roll over into a ditch on Sunday evening on Hwy 92 west of Louisa Washington County Line road.
Ayla Renee Meza, of Columbus Junction, was traveling eastbound on Highway 92 approaching the Louisa/Washington County Line Road when she attempted to slow down and her vehicle, a 2006 Chevrolet Colorado, began skidding on the ice.
The vehicle went into the north ditch, slid sideways and rolled onto its driver’s side. Meza was able to exit the vehicle and complained of a headache. She was taken to the hospital privately and her vehicle was towed by Midwest Towing to a Columbus Junction residence.
Assisting were Columbus Junction Fire, Louisa County Ambulance, Columbus Junction Police Department and Louisa County Sheriff’s Office.
