Frey named director of Lord’s Cupboard

Susan Frey has been named the new director of the Lord’s Cupboard of Jefferson County.

According to a news release from the organization, Frey brings a diverse background in community relations and development to the organization.

“She is elated to serve our friends and neighbors in the Jefferson County Community,” the news release said.

Residents are invited to greet Frey at the Lord Cupboard’s booth at the Fairfield Farmers Market Saturday, May 15 at Howard Park. The booth will be there from 9 a.m. to noon. It is also a chance for residents to give their well wishes to the Lord Cupboard’s outgoing director, Laura Cohen.

The mission statement and goal for the Lord’s Cupboard of Jefferson County, Iowa, is to help fight hunger by supplying emergency food assistance to those in need.
