4 area teams at home, Cobras at Columbus

There will be just two regular season games remaining in the high school football season after Friday's contests.
All area teams are at home except for Sigourney-Keota, which plays at Columbus in a Class 1A District 5 game. SK has a 4-2 record and is 1-1 in the district. Columbus is 0-6.
Columbus' Chance Colby is second in the district with 873 total yards on 22 of 58 passing and 102 carries for 579 yards rushing.
The Cobras' JD Stout is right behind him with 822 total yards on 9 of 23 passing and 689 yards on 108 attempts.
In 2A-6, Mid-Prairie (1-5, 1-1) hosts Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (3-3, 1-1).
Mid-Prairie's Justin Schwartz is third in the district with 512 yards rushing on 115 carries. Grant Boyse is sixth in the district with 224 yards. e has just 26 carries and is averaging 8.6 yards per rush, good for first in the district (over 20 carries).
EBF's Trey Moore leads the district in passing with 1,242 yards on 75 of 156 attempts with 12 touchdowns and six interceptions.
In 8-player District 4, Winfield-Mount Union (1-6) goes to WACO (4-3).
WACO has the class leader in total offense (rushing and receiving) with Colton Horak's total of 1,369 yards. He has 765 yards rushing on 107 carries and 604 receiving on 38 catches.
W-MU's Daunte Oepping is fifth in the district in yards passing with 511 on 46 of 111.
Highland (5-1, 1-1), which is back in the AP rankings at No. 10 after a road win at Pekin last week hosts Durant (4-2, 2-0) in a Class A District 6 matchup.
Durant is averaging 31.5 points a game and giving up 16.8. Bryce LaFrenz leads the district with 1,128 yards passing on 67 of 120 completions.
Highland's Trey Lasek is third with 643 yards on 33 of 66 passing, but first in total yards at 1,332. He has 689 yards on 95 rushes.
The Huskies average 27.7 points a game and allow 16.3.
