David Wayne Buch, 59, of Fairfield, passed away Monday, Oct. 18, 2021, at Mercy Iowa City. A graveside memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at Memorial Lawn Cemetery with Father Nick Adam officiating.

David was born Jan. 27, 1962, in Quebec, Canada. He was the son of Eugene Ernest and Helen Agnes (Turek) Buch. David lived in Fairfield most of his life. He owned his own landscaping and snow removal business. He especially loved when his dad worked with him. David's outside interests were fishing and arrowhead hunting. David had a big heart and liked helping others as he could. He also enjoyed just having a good laugh. David liked listening to good rock and roll music. He loved spending time with his nieces, nephews, family, friends and his dog, Roscoe.

David will be missed by his sisters, Laura (Curtis Chase) Buch of What Cheer and Barbara Buch of Fairfield; many nieces and nephews and many, many extended family.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Helen; brother, Scott; and his great nephew, Kaison.
