Douglas Bradley Young, 57, of Ottumwa, died at his home Friday, Dec. 10, 2021. He was born in Fairfield on Sept. 11, 1964, the son of Bradley and Michelle Davis Young. Doug grew up in Richland, graduated from Pekin High School in 1983 and attended Iowa State University. He worked at BY Farm Market, Excel Corp. in Ottumwa and for Adrian Trucking in Richland.

Doug is survived by his mother, Michelle; and his brother, David in Scottsbluff, Neb. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, at the Richland United Methodist Church with the Rev. Michael Elrod officiating. Burial will be in Indianapolis Cemetery, What Cheer, Iowa. Memorials for the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association may be left at the church or mailed to the family at P.O. Box 144, Richland, IA 52585.
