Jeffrey Todd Mills of Bastrop, Texas, passed away Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, at Hospice Austin, Texas.

Jeff was born April 16, 1964, in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, son of Robert L. and Carol Williams Mills. He attended Mount Pleasant Community schools and graduated cum laude from Cypress Fairbanks High School in 1982 at Cypress, Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1987 with a degree in computer science. He worked for several companies in the Houston, Texas, area, and had the opportunity to design an important program used in the NASA Space Station. After moving to Austin, Texas, he strived so that he could be involved with two successful start-up computer companies. The last company was Trust Radius, where he was employed as a Chief Architect of Executive Engineering. On May 24, 1997, he and Lynn Scherbarth were married in Austin, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Scherbarth-Mills; two children, Devon and Natalie Mills; his parents, Bob Mills of Spring, Texas, and Carol Mills of Tucson, Ariz.; and a brother, Tim Mills (Susan) of Tucson, Ariz., and their children, Ethan and Tia.

Jeff was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Virgil and Mary Helen Mills; and his maternal grandparents, David and Grace Williams.

A celebration of life memorial will be held at a future date in Bastrop, Texas.
