Two bad decisions
On June 24 and 25, two horrific rulings were made by the U.S. Supreme Court.
The first one struck down the concealed weapons ban, therefore concealed guns now may be carried in public. This will add more killings to the tremendous number of mass killings we have already experienced in parades, schools, grocery stores, churches, malls and concerts.
Travel in this country is no longer safe. Nothing has been done to remove military style guns from the public. AK-15s were first used by the military in the Vietnam war. They have been used for some of the mass shootings like the recent massacre at the Uvalde, Texas school.
The ammunition used by these guns pulverize human bodies that are hit. In Uvalde, family members had to provide DNA samples so the children’s bodies could be identified.
The second Supreme Court ruling said each state could decide their own abortion rules. Some states will rule against all abortions. If victims of rape and incest are not allowed legal abortions, it will be a death sentence for some young girls which is cruel and inhumane.
Some will allow an abortion to save the life of the mother which is very hard to determine in some cases. Some states plan to arrest a female who has an abortion. Tragically, it may not be possible to tell if it was an abortion or a miscarriage.
The destruction of Roe v. Wade has caused havoc and great confusion for many. Losing these personal freedoms to make decisions about their own bodies may cause females to resent engaging in intercourse, move to a state where abortions are legal and contraceptives are allowed, or emigrate to Canada.
