Willadean Pickard Logan, 93, of Aurora, Mo., completed a journey to her heavenly home on April 12, 2021.
She wed her betrothed, Keith Winston Logan, upon his return from World War II in 1945. Willadean and her family later relocated to southwest Missouri to continue farming and a
career in real estate sales and investments.
In recent years, Willadean and her husband continued a lifelong commitment to their Christian faith.
Born May 5, 1927, in rural Salem, Iowa, Willadean was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Keith; her parents, Mr. E. Dewey and Dorothea M. Hoyer-Pickard; two older sisters, Marguerite Pefferman and Dorothy (Herbert) Payne; younger sister, Helen (Ray) Weeden; younger brother, Richard (Louise) Pickard; and two great-great-granddaughters.
Willadean is survived by her three children, Mrs. Regina (Larry) Keith of Hiwassee, Ark., Mrs. Estyle (Charlie) Vaught of Aurora, Mo., and Mr. Marston (Becky) Logan of Bolivar, Tenn.; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
A visitation was held April 14 at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, Mo. A funeral service was held April 14 in the funeral home chapel. Burial was in Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Mo., with her husband.
