Special 4-H memory/highlight: One of my most rewarding 4-H experiences was organizing a successful blood drive with the ELITE Project Team!
“Since I started in fourth grade, this program has challenged my skills and given me countless opportunities to grow in leadership, communication, citizenship. 4-H has allowed me to form connections with people from surrounding communities and has given me access to some of the best mentors in my area. My most influential experiences include attending youth trips, winning special awards, and being a member of the ELITE Project Team. After nine years in 4-H, I have mastered several necessary life skills including interviewing, teamwork, and networking. Most of all, 4-H has helped me to learn more about myself and my passions. Thank you, Washington County 4-H for being such an influential chapter in my life!”
Other Activities: National Honor Society, Band, Choir, Theater, Speech, Business Professionals of America, Earth Club, and various youth groups
Future Plans: I plan on attending Drake University to double-major in graphic design and marketing and minor in music.
