Ainsworth Sacha Club meeting notes from March 28

Eight members attended the meeting March 28 at the Ainsworth Community Church at 6:30 p.m.
Karen Megchelsen led the discussion on final plans for the Easter Egg Hunt at Mary Marr Lodge in Marr Park on Saturday, April 16th at 9:30 a.m.
It was decided that members should be there by 8 a.m. for set up. Each member is to provide 2 dozen cookies for the refreshment table. She shared posters she made for local businesses and the street signs will go out the week of the event.
Jolene Colthurst and Ann Freyenberger shared the candy and gift bag supplies they had purchased for the Easter event. Members filled the eggs for the hunt.
President Rachel Carstensen is chairman of the scholarship committee. She led discussion regarding the amount to be spent this year. She will contact the school(s) about the process for application.
Linda McNeil presented possibilities for our annual shopping and lunch event in April. It was decided to choose either Saturday, April 23 or Saturday, April 30 in the Kalona area.
She will obtain information for an Amish meal and confirm date/reservations. Members will be notified by email of the final arrangement.
Refreshments were served by hostess, Liz Kaufman.
Our next business meeting will be May 23, 2022. Ann Freyenberger is the hostess.
