Fairfield Women’s Club makes Easter baskets for Friday sale

The Garden Club of the Fairfield Women’s Club were busy making Easter baskets for the Annual Spring Easter Sale at the McElhinny House.

The baskets were made at their regular April meeting under the guidance of Nan Adam for the program with all members participating. The baskets will be sold Friday, April 15 in conjunction with the homemade bake goods, frozen ham balls and frozen chicken casseroles.

The ham balls were made on Monday and the chicken casseroles were made on Friday of last week. All of the members were involved.

It was a very busy week for the group but was enjoyable to be together. Will enjoy seeing the community on Friday.

The sale will on Friday April 15 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the McElhinny House, 300 N. Court St., Fairfield. Preorders may be made for the frozen items by calling 641-472-0013.
