Holtkamp’s to celebrate 65th Wedding Anniversary

James W. and Carol V. Holtkamp of Mount Pleasant will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary.

They will gather with family and friends on Saturday, April 15, for 5:30 p.m. Mass at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Mount Pleasant, followed by a gathering in Manning Hall.

James Holtkamp and Carol Dodson were married April 19, 1958, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fort Madison.

They have six sons and one daughter, Gregg (Susan) of Burlington, Jerry (Jacki) of New London, Julie (Rich) Burkey of Chewelah, Washington, Brian (Amy) of Antioch, Illinois, Brad (Maribeth) and Stanley (Darcy), both of Mount Pleasant, and Matthew (Suzanne) of Buford, Georgia. They also have 27 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
