Holy Week at Trenton UMC

Holy Thursday April 6 at 7 p.m., members and friends of the Trenton United Methodist Church will gather for a Tenebrae Service, with The Lord’s Supper prepared for all who desire to share it.

Tenebrae (darkness) recalls in words and in music some of the events of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. Offering received that evening is designated for missions, through the UMCOR offering.

All friends and neighbors are cordially invited and welcome to join in this meaningful time of preparation for the Easter weekend.

Easter Sunday April 9, those gathered will worship at 9 a.m., and then enjoy family fellowship and the annual free Easter breakfast, with both lighter and hearty fare served.

Trenton is located five miles north of Mt. Pleasant, and then five miles west; or three miles west of Mt. Pleasant, and then seven miles north.

The doors will be open and the lights will be on for you Thursday, April 6 as they are every Sunday. The building is fully accessible with plenty of free parking.
