Local chapter of T.T.T. Society meets in Olds

Chapter L of the National T.T.T. Society met on Monday, March 28 at the Olds United Church of Christ. The meeting opened with the singing of Sword of Gold.
Roll Call was answered by seven with "What is your middle name?"
Minutes: Nancy McGohan read the minutes of the February 29, 2022 minutes which were approved as read.
Correspondence: President Shelman shared what Marlys Fear had reported from the National Office Newsletter: "The executive board is looking for sponsorships", camper numbers have rebounded and camper costs are increasing.
The Treasurer's report was given by Missy Fear and will be filed for audit.
Committee reports:
• Camp: Nancy McGohan made contact with two girls the Chapter will be sending to camp this summer and shared that camp registrations will be done online starting this year.
• Charity: Missy Fear sent two Easter gift cards to past camp girls.
• Camp Girls' Gifts: Pat Miller reported in March that two birthday gift cards were sent.
• Ways and Means: Karolyn Crawford reported she has scheduled the club to work a tip night at Mt. Pleasant Pizza Ranch on April 4 from 5-8 p.m. An open invitation is extended to the surrounding communities to support this group by eating out that evening. A certain percentage of the sales and any tips will be received. It will also be an opportunity to meet chapter members and help support the group's costs associated with camp this coming summer.
Unfinished Business: Convention will be April 22 and 23. The duties of this event were discussed in more detail.
New Business: None
Bills For Payment: Pat Miller submitted a bill for Christmas and birthday gift cards. A motion was made by Betty Molander to pay the bill and it was seconded by Joan Rodgers.
Proposal Of Names For Membership: None

President Shelman thanked those who attended. The next meeting will be Monday, April 25 at 7 p.m. with the location to be announced later. Pat Miller will be hostess.
The meeting adjourned with the Closing Creed.
During the meeting homemade Oatmeal Cake was provided by Karolyn Crawford.
Reminder: Don't forget to pick up pies you've ordered from the Crawfordsville Community Club on Friday, April 15 from 4-6 p.m. at the Crawfordsville Fire Station.
Also, the Fireman's Pancake Breakfast is Saturday, April 16 from 6-9 a.m. Eat-in, carry-out or drive-thru. Pancakes, sausage patties, scrambled eggs, hash browns and sausage gravy is offered for a freewill offering. An Easter egg hunt will follow at 9:30 a.m. behind the WACO Elementary School.
Easter Events:
• Friday, April 15--Good Friday services at Ainsworth Community Church at 7 p.m. (United Church of Crawfordsville invited.)
• Sunday, April 17 --A very brief Sunrise service at 8 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Following the service a pancake and sausage breakfast will be served until 8:45.
• Easter service at 9. Confirmation, Baptism and Communion will be held.
Spring cleanup for the city of Crawfordsville will be Monday, April 25. Please have items out by 7 a.m. A detailed list of items that will be picked up and those that won't will follow in next week's column.
