Mid- Prairie Drama to present ‘The Play That Goes Wrong’
Apr. 5, 2023 12:15 am
The Mid-Prairie Drama Department presents its 2023 spring play The Play That Goes Wrong, April 14 and 15 at 7 p.m., and April 16 at 2 p.m.
The Play That Goes Wrong was written by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields.
From Mischief, Broadway masters of comedy, comes the smash hit farce.
It’s opening night of the Cornley University Drama Society’s newest production, The Murder at Haversham Manor, and things are quickly going from bad to utterly disastrous.
This 1920s whodunit has everything you never wanted in a show—an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can’t play dead, and actors who trip over everything (including their lines).
Nevertheless, our accident-prone thespians battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious consequences.
Part Monty Python, part Sherlock Holmes, this comedy produced by special arrangement with Broadway Licensing, LLC, servicing the Dramatists Play Service collection, is guaranteed to leave you laughing
