Mt. Pleasant Lutheran women’s group plan spring meeting

The Mt. Pleasant Zone of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) will hold their annual Spring Rally on Saturday, April 23 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 2611 Lucas St., Muscatine.

Registration and a light breakfast begins at 8:30 a.m. The meeting and program is from 9 a.m.-noon with lunch following.

The theme is "Here I am, send me" from Isaiah 6:8. The keynote speaker is Kathryn Schweer speaking on her mission trip to Kyrgystan.

The LWML is a recognized auxiliary of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS)and the Mt. Pleasant Zone consists of women from LCMS churches in Burlington, Fairfield, Ft. Madison, Keosaqua, Mt. Peasant, Muscatine, Wapello, and Wilton.
