Downtown Mt. Pleasant should have a few more parking spaces as the massive snow piles covering them up were removed Tuesday afternoon. Mt. Pleasant city employees worked hard to clear out some of the mountains of snow left over from snow storms this past weekend.

The Rotary Club of Washington recently participated in a pilot project with World Bicycle Relief. WBR provides durable, heavy-duty bicycles for students in developing countries. WBR matched the Washington Rotary Club member?s individual purchase of bikes.
