The Washington County Riverboat Foundation will meet at 6 p.m., June 17, at the Washington Public Library.Items on the agenda include: approving the minutes from the May 6 meeting, correspondence, treasurer's report, committee reports, approve partial grant plans, discussion and possible action concerning meeting with Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission and set up procedure to replace three outgoing directors.

The Hole family reunion will be held June 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sunset Park in Washington.The reunion will be located north of the swimming pool on the west side of the park.People attending the reunion are asked to bring a covered dish and their own drinks.

Fairfield seventh grader Ashley Bloomquist was the only Trojan who competed at the State Junior High Cross-Country Championships Saturday at Saydel High School in Des Moines, but she made it worthwhile. Bloomquist won the 3A girls seventh grade state title and finished with the time of 13:44.

The Washington County Extension Office held a ?Mystery of the Missing Bear? Day Camp on June 15 at New Dawn at Sunset Park in Washington and June 16 at Kalona City Park. Both days contained the same fun and excitement.
