Two students from the Mid-Prairie Community School District were selected to participate in the first SEIBA Elementary Honor Band, hosted by the Washington Community School District. Olivia Caskey and Noah Miller, both fifth-graders, were part of the recent honor band conducted by Dorothy Jacobi of Center Point-Urbana, with guest soloist Washington's own Gary McCurdy.
