Maharishi School saw its season come to an end Tuesday with a three-set loss to Winfield-Mount Union in the Class 1A regional volleyball opener.The Pioneers lost their 24th match of the season by final scores of 1-25, 3-25 and 11-25.Winfield-Mount Union continues on to the second round to face New London, which topped WACO on Tuesday.

Two Washington manufacturers will open their doors to the public for tours on Tuesday, Oct. 21 as part of the Kirkwood and Iowa??s Creative Corridor ?Advancing the Future? tour. Bazooka Farmstar will be open from 9:30 to 11 a.m., and Modine Manufacturing will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Participants must wear closed-toe shoes, and be middle-school age or older.
