In observance of Labor Day, the Conservation Education Center at Marr Park will be closed on Monday, Sept. 1.Beginning on Sept. 2, the center will also switch to its winter hours. Washington County Extension will reshow both the Commercial and Confinement Manure Applicator Programs on Friday, Sept. 5, for those who were unable to attend a workshop. Nine Mid-Prairie High School vocal students attended the Central College All-State Vocal camp, July 31 and Aug. 1. They spent these two days learning the All-State music, attending private voice lessons with college professors, and getting to know other students from around the state.
