AGRILAND FS Inc., a locally owned cooperative, has announced that Adam Guy, son of Danny Joe and Cindy Guy of Brighton, has been awarded one of the $1,000 scholarships from the Agriland FS Foundation. Guy plans to attend Iowa State University to study agronomy, with an animal sciences minor.

Adventures in Living Fortnightly met at 11:30 a.m., May 22, in the Campbell Room at the Presbyterian Home. The monthly Alzheimer's /Dementia Support Group of Washington County will be meeting at 6:30 p.m. June 2, at the United Presbyterian Church in Washington. Families and caregivers are welcome to attend for support, questions, advice, suggestions on how to deal with day-to-day events of one with Alzheimer's dementia.

Students, families, and former teachers are invited to attend the Shiloh School reunion on Sunday, June 1. A potluck meal will begin at noon. The reunion will be held at the Washington County Farm Bureau office.
