The Fairfield Lions Club announced its third annual raffle ticket sale.This year?s prize is a Polaroid 40-inch LCD HDTV. All proceeds will go to the Fairfield Little League to purchase a new electronic scoreboard for the newly erected softball complex.Tickets are $3 each or a book of 10 for $25. The Henry County Sheriff's Office responded to a car vs. deer crash in the 2100 grid of Hwy 218 Sunday, Sept. 9, at approximately 7:17 p.m.After an investigation, it was determined that Jason Hawk, of Donnellson, was traveling south on Hwy 218 and struck a deer in the roadway. No injuries were reported.Damage was estimated over $1,500 and a State Crash Report was completed.
