PW Circle welcomes special guest

The PW Circle met on April 10, 2019, in the Campbell Room of the U.P. Home with Kitch Shatzer as hostess. Co-Leader Karla Maxwell conducted the meeting. The Special Offering for April will go to Mission Mobility. Julia Gamon reported on Corresponding Missionary Tom Johnson who has recently been in Haiti for training. Betty Colby and Kitch Shatzer planned to attend the Presbytery Spring Workshop in Bettendorf on April 13, 2019. More plans were made for the Spring Salad Luncheon that will be held at the Presbyterian Church on May 1, 2019 at 11:45 a.m. Kitch Shatzer introduced her guest, Veda Gill, from Pakistan. She is the director of the Presbyterian Education Board in Pakistan. There they educate Christians and Muslims side by side. Deb Helmick provided devotions for the meeting and Kay Hall led the study. The next meeting will be May 8, 2019 with Janice Twinam as the hostess, Kay Hall will provide devotions and Jane Fehr will lead the study.
