Spring cleanup will be Monday, April 24, 2023.

Please have items out by 7 a.m.

Household debris should be bagged. 100 lb. limit

Wood needs to be bundled

Paint cans should be emptied and dried out

WHITE CLOUD CUB

On Tuesday, April 4, 2023 seven members of the White Cloud Club met at Your Choice Restaurant in Wayland at 11 a.m. for lunch.

This was the first meeting of their Spring season. Tables were decorated with Easter napkins and individual cups of Easter candies.

After enjoying their meal, a time of visiting and catching up was enjoyed with those attending.

A short business meeting was conducted by President Jolene Colthurst. A reading, "Flowers down the Garden Path" from a seasonal "Ideal" magazine was given by Jolene. Roll Call was answered by members naming their favorite early spring flower. Minutes from the previous meeting were read by Betty Lintz and included a treasurer's report. They were both approved as read. Members were reminded to be thinking of places to go on the Fall club tour. An Easter card was signed by everyone to send to those who couldn't be with them. It was noted there are no member birthdays in April or May.

Those attending were Carrie Coble, Jolene Colthurst, Betty Lintz, Pat Miller, Margaret Patterson, Pauline Richardson and Virginia Sands.

The next meeting will again be held at Your Choice Family Restaurant at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2023. Members were encouraged to bring a favorite plant/flower to exchange.

Virginia was thanked for making arrangements for the meeting and for providing treats and decorations. Easter greetings were shared as they left.

4-H CANNED FOOD DRIVE

Crooked Creek 4-H Club will have a canned food drive Wednesday evening, April 12 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Club members will go door-to-door collecting items.

SPRING RUMMAGE SALE

The United Church of Crawfordsville will hold a Spring Rummage Sale

Thursday, April 27-8 a.m.-6 p.m.; Friday, April 28, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday, April 29, 8 a.m.-Noon.

There will be: Clothing, Shoes of all sizes, Housewares, Bedding, Decorative items, some furniture, Toys and much more.

TVs and Computers are not accepted. All electrical appliances should be clean and in good working order.

Everything will be offered for a freewill offering.

Money from the sale goes to support Missions and Service Projects.

Donations can be brought to the church starting the week of April 16 and can be left in room at the northeast corner of the church. Setup for the sale is Tuesday, April 25 at 9 a.m.
