In 2002, Fairfield First Fridays Art Walk was started by Stacey Hurlin, Founder of the Art Life Society. It was Hurlin and her group’s desire to create a fun, interactive event for the public. This past year marked 20 years that Fairfield First Fridays has been a signature event for Fairfield. Help us make the 21st anniversary the best one yet!
For the 2023 year, we are planning our regular eleven monthly events, free movies in Central Park from June-October, and the Holiday Trade Fair in December.

The Fairfield First Friday’s Board of Directors helps with fundraising, meeting with local businesses and sponsors, assisting at events and working closely with Director/Event Planner Marla Brader to help make each event a success. If you would be interested in being involved in the Fairfield First Fridays Art Walk board, please reach out to us. We are always excited to add new members and get fresh ideas and input!
Fairfield First Fridays looks forward to an exciting new year of events and would like to thank the community for the continued support. The community attendance, guidance from the Fairfield Visitors Bureau, LOST funding, other area grants including The Greater Jefferson County Foundation, The Cambridge Foundation Inc., donations from businesses, private donations, sponsorships, and talent is what makes Fairfield First Fridays possible and allows it to continue.
To be added to the email list for the fundraising program, the newsletter, or to sponsor an event, please contact Fairfield First Fridays Director and Event Planner Marla Brader at fairfieldartwalk@gmail.com, or at 641-233-8883.
