JCHC offers comprehensive, compassionate care
Feb. 17, 2023 10:17 pm
With over 11,000 patient visits a month, Jefferson County Health Center (JCHC) continues to be a vital healthcare resource in Fairfield, Jefferson County, and the surrounding area. The health center, in its current building since 2009, has evolved to offer services including multiple primary care clinics, therapy services, multiple surgical specialties including orthopedics and general surgery, outpatient procedures, 24/7 ER care, inpatient care, diagnostic imaging, laboratory testing, and more.
In addition to its facility in Fairfield, JCHC offers a primary care medical Clinic in Richland, Iowa offering healthcare services including family health, men’s/women’s health, pediatric medicine, vaccinations, sport physicals, and treatment for injury/illness.
“JCHC remains focused on providing exceptional and compassionate care which is extended to our patients’ family members, loved ones, and friends as we recognize optimal health is a team effort,” said Bryan Hunger, Chief Executive Officer. “It is our priority to provide our patients with the treatment, resources, and care needed to return to the community as healthier individuals. In addition to serving our community when accident or illness threatens, we want to do everything we can to create an environment where healthy lifestyles and preventative health is attainable by all.”
In September, the organization was named an Iowa Top Workplace by the Des Moines Register, based on the results of an employee survey. In the past year, JCHC welcomed Dr. Brian Marovets and Mallory Hoover, ARNP, as family practice healthcare providers in JCHC Clinics, as well as Brent Feickert, the health center’s new Chief Financial Officer.
