Although reservations are not required in order to use the shelters at city parks, people can ensure that they will be able to use a shelter on a certain date by reserving it. The fee is $20 for a four-hour block. Reservations can be made at the Fairfield Park and Recreation Department office, 1000 W. Burlington Ave., or by phone at 641-472-6159.
