Fairfield firefighters responded to a call at 7:27 p.m. Tuesday about wires burnt off the back of the building at 104 N. Fourth St., Palmer Muffler. Wires leading to the utility pole kept arcing. Firefighters returned to the station by 8:10 p.m.
