Jack and Sue Jensen, formerly of Fairfield, are experiencing the best of both worlds in their new home in Clovis, Calif. The couple installed a Fairfield streetlight in their yard as a reminder of home, even amongst the palm trees and sunshine. Sue Jensen purchased the streetlight at an auction 20 years ago. ?It brings back memories of days gone by,? they said.

Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office responded to an accident at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at 2200 Highway 1. Jason Michael Loeher of Birmingham was driving a 1997 Chevrolet Geo Metro south on Highway 1 when he struck a cow in the road.
