Family photos, estimated $20 value, and envelopes, paper and typewriter ribbon, estimated $55 value, were stolen.Phyllip Scott Franklin, 42, of Keosauqua was arrested at 10:02 a.m. Wednesday in Birmingham for a probation violation.

This morning it WAS rocket science in the front yard of Fairfield High School as science teacher Gordon Hacket, manning the pump, had his students attempting to blast off their homemade rockets.
