The Fairfield Police Department received a report of a dead body at Landmark Inn, 115 N. Main St., shortly after 10:30 a.m. today.Fairfield Police Chief Julie Harvey would not release details this afternoon, stating the case is under investigation, and the results of an autopsy are pending. Information about the individual is being withheld pending notification of the family.
