Ecobarn to host discussion of 'rewilding' rivers Feb. 27

The Ecobarn in Fairfield will host a potluck and community discussion at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27. The theme of the event is “Big River Connectivity: Rewilding Iowa by Reconnecting the Mississippi-Missouri Basin.” It will be a 45-minute talk on rewilding, wildlife habitat, and human-to-nature relationships by Leland Searles, PhD in sociocultural anthropology.

The event is being put on by the Sustainable Living Coalition, Southeast Iowa Sierra Club and Southeast Iowa Food Hub.
