MT PLEASANT — While the official Kids’ Day at the fair is Saturday, July 16, there will be activities for them to enjoy Wednesday and Thursday as well.
Wednesday, 8-11 a.m. Clover Kids will display their exhibit entries for judging and the public in the Exhibit Building.
Then, Wednesday evening includes Chopped Cupcake Contest at 5:30 in the Wright Pavilion, Kid’s Pedal Pull at 6 p.m. at the Tractor Headquarters, and beginning at dusk kids and families can sit back, relax, and enjoy an outdoor movie.
Is your kid a Lego Master?
Thursday Lego creations can be dropped off from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for the 5 p.m. judging, and best of all, participants do not need to be present for judging so they can enjoy the rest of the fair worry-free.
If mud is not a deterrent, then fairgoers can enjoy Mud Volleyball at 5:30 p.m., Friday, July 15, however, please, do not wash up in the bathrooms.
The moment every kid is excited for is Saturday, July 16, which is a day filled fun and free activities for kids at the fair.
The Little Prince and Princess Contest will take place at 11:30 p.m. in the Write Pavilion.
Following that, kids can enjoy free activities like blow ups, games, and booths designed just for them.
