Mt. Pleasant Amtrak Station

The Zephyr runs daily between Chicago and San Francisco, coursing through the plains of Nebraska to Denver, across the Rockies to Salt Lake City, and then through Reno and Sacramento into Emeryville/San Francisco. Of course, the Mt. Pleasant Amtrak Station is a convenient location for arrivals and departures.

SEIBUS

SEIBUS bus services are open to the public and are an on-demand response, meaning clients may be picked up at their home, dropped off at their destination, and returned to their home. Service may be used for any purpose: shopping, medical appointment, beauty shop, or just to visit a friend. SEIBUS also has service available to Iowa City and The Eastern Iowa Airport.

Utility Services

The main providers of internet in Henry County include Windstream, Mediacom, Farmers and Merchants Telephone, and LISCO. The former two provide telephone, internet (fiber-optic cable, DSL), and cable TV service to most areas of Henry County. LISCO provides home and dial-up internet service to all of Henry County and DSL (8mbps) to Mt. Pleasant. Mediacom can be reached at 877-561-6847, LISCO at 800-331-8414.
