HWC offers the best in hometown hospice care

We all have choices in the agency we use for our end of life care. Hospice of Washington County (HWC) has been providing hometown care to Washington and the surrounding communities for over thirty years. HWC is a community based, not-for-profit hospice agency that has served the Washington County Community as well as Henry, Jefferson, Johnson, Keokuk, Louisa, and Muscatine counties with local staff proudly providing compassionate care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Our current office space was made possible from the love and generosity of this community. We are ready to begin the next chapter which is movement toward a Hospice House. Many times, our staff is asked about whether our current building has space for patients which it doesn’t. Our community needs a place that is designed to provide end of life comfort care.
