MidWestOne recognized as one of America’s Best Banks

MidWestOne Bank for the second consecutive year is recognized in Newsweek magazine’s 2023 America’s Best Banks rankings and named Best Small Bank in Iowa. Newsweek partnered with Lending Tree, an online loan marketplace and comparison site for financial services, to compile the Best Banks list.

The selections were made based on evaluating 50 different factors including the ability to help customers make the most of every dollar and to offer advice to meet consumers’ financial needs, the ability to offer bigger incentives like rewards, and reduced or eliminated overdraft fees. The article’s goal was to help the reader get a better sense of the new banking environment amid rising inflation, and to find an institution that best suits their needs. They evaluated thousands of FDIC insured banks and credit unions.
