Originally founded in 2014 as RePurpose It, Purposefully You Boutique has evolved from a unique antique and furniture resale shop into a thriving destination for women’s fashion. The boutique began by offering antiques and one-of-a-kind furniture finds, soon shifting its focus to repurposed furniture and hands-on paint workshops that brought creativity to the community.
For years, the shop was a local favorite for home décor and repainted furniture, but in 2020, owner Leslie Allender took a bold step forward. After completing the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program, she expanded her boutique’s offerings to include women’s clothing. The transition proved to be a resounding success, leading Leslie to increase her shop’s square footage and gradually shift away from repurposed furniture and home décor.
Today, Purposefully You Boutique is a go-to fashion destination, featuring a carefully curated selection of women's clothing in sizes S-3XL, alongside stylish accessories, candles, and gifts. Whether you're looking for effortless casual wear or polished business-casual attire, the boutique provides timeless, inspiring pieces for every woman.
Beyond fashion, Leslie is deeply committed to her community. As a volunteer Board Member with Main Street Washington and an active committee member on the Hotel/Motel Tax Committee, she works alongside fellow business owners to ensure Washington continues to thrive. Her passion for supporting local businesses and fostering a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere is evident in every aspect of her boutique.
Discover something special at Purposefully You Boutique, where inspiration meets style. Whether you're shopping for yourself, a friend, or a loved one, you'll find thoughtfully curated pieces that make every visit memorable. Conveniently located inside the Carson Plumbing Building at 107 W. 2nd Street, just one block north of Washington’s downtown square, this boutique promises an experience that’s worth the stop — you won’t leave disappointed.
