Ross Auto & Muffler has been family owned and operated since 1935.
Andy Ross is the third generation of the Ross family to own and provide auto repair service to customers at 222 S. Marion Ave. in Washington.
Ross Auto provides a variety of general auto repair and maintenance services. They specialize in all makes and models of cars and light duty trucks – foreign and domestic.
Their services include general repairs, oil changes, alignment and suspension work and exhaust and mufflers.
“With our variety of available services, let us help you keep rolling and your vehicle operating efficiently,” Andy said.
At the heart of the business are the employees at Ross Auto who utilize their skills and experience to tackle any job that comes their way.
Bob Cutler has been with the business since 1991 and handles all under-car repairs, including alignments, steering and suspension, utilizing a state-of-the-art Hunter Alignment Machine.
Nick Yoder has been with the company since 2018. He is a 2017 graduate of Kirkwood Community College’s auto technology program. Yoder is involved with brakes, air conditioning and whatever else may be thrown his way.
Joe Collier, who is also community college trained, joined the Ross Auto team in 2019. He takes care of all oil changes and makes sure all fluids are checked and ready for the best performance possible from your vehicle.
Andy’s wife, Sara, keeps the business running by handling all of the administrative duties.
“All of us at Ross Auto take great pride in providing the best possible service to your vehicle,” Sara said. “Give us a call at 319-653-5656 to schedule your vehicle for maintenance.”
Ross Auto is open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. They are closed on weekends.
