Sitler’s LED Supplies expands into new locations

Sitler's Supplies has been a Washington, Iowa based business since 1977.

The business was founded by Bill and Hazel Sitler after they sold Sitler Electric Supply and changed their focus to specialty "lighting only" wholesale distribution. Sitler's welcomed John Prochaska as a partner in the company in 1988. John bought the company shortly thereafter.

John owned and operated the business until he passed away in 2000. John's son Jason then took over the business in August 2000. In 2012, Sitler's transitioned into LED (light emitting diode) products. LED's offer a much better, energy efficient, longer lasting lighting option vs. conventional lighting such as fluorescent, incandescent and HID lighting.

With this focus in mind, Sitler's Supplies rebranded into Sitler's LED Supplies. They sell LED products for numerous market verticals including agriculture, warehousing, production facilities, industrial, residential and educational buildings.

Sitler's market lighting products to over 100 electrical contractors throughout Iowa and the surrounding states. They also work directly with building and business owners to convert older lighting to LED's.

One specialty of Sitler's involves knowledge and implementation of rebate programs offered to utilities such as Alliant and MidAmerican Energy. Since 2012, they've helped customers take advantage of over $8,000,000 in energy efficient rebates incentives. The current Alliant and MidAmerican rebates are "better then ever."

Sitler's recently expanded to offices in Des Moines and Omaha, Nebraska to compliment their main Washington, Iowa based office and warehouse.
