Wiley’s turns houses into homes

Locally owned since July 1991, Wiley's Interior Furnishings and Design, located in Mt. Pleasant, is your one stop shop for appliances, cabinetry, countertops, flooring, fireplaces, and furniture.

“When people are building a new house, they can buy the cabinets, countertops, flooring, window treatments, furniture, appliances, everything for their house, and they only have to deal with one entity,” owner John Housman said.

Even after the building phase, Wiley’s offers expert service technicians for any hiccups along the way.

Housman takes pride in Wiley’s excellent customer service, no matter what.

With a major expansion in 2006, Wiley’s has successfully weathered economically unstable times and come out on top.

Housman attributes their success through the COVID-19 Pandemic to changing customer needs and the maintenance of their great customer service.

“During the pandemic, a lot of people were not going to Disneyland, not spending $5,000 on vacations,” he said. “They stayed home more and found they didn’t like their couches, or they wanted to update their kitchens so they could better enjoy their space.”

With high demand and supply chain delays, Wiley’s did not disappoint.

“We would loan out fridges while they waited,” Housman said. “When we deliver, we don’t just drop it at the door and go. We set it up and make sure it is ready to use.”

They’ve offered this great customer service for the last 30 years and intend to continue to offer it well into the future as Wiley’s Interiors continues to be a trusted name in home appliances and furnishings.
