Williamsburg musicians tour Europe with Iowa Ambassadors of Music
Five Williamsburg High School band students recently completed their tour of Europe with the Iowa Ambassadors of Music. They performed in London, Paris, Crans-Montana, Switzerland, Rothenburg, Germany, and Salzburg, Austria. Williamsburg participants were: Paige Appel, clarinet; Cady Campbell, percussion; Laura Carrico, trumpet; Cooper Daugherty, alto saxophone, and James Landeros, trombone.
These students were recommended by Williamsburg High School band director Leah Grant based on their outstanding playing ability and hard work.
While on tour they visited Windsor Castle, the Louvre Museum, the Matterhorn, Dachau Concentration camp, and had tours of Salzburg and Vienna, Austria.
