Youths explore Creation Museum, Ark Encounter on recent trip
Aug. 1, 2022 1:30 pm
On June 20, BASIC (Brothers And Sisters In Christ) of Saint Timothy Evangelical Lutheran Church, Williamsburg, left for an educational youth group expedition to the Creation Museum in Petersburg, Ky., and The Ark Encounter in Williamstown, Ky. They were accompanied by Pastor Karl Heck and two other parent-members of Saint Timothy, Mark and Susan Heitman.
“Spending one day at each of the tremendous presentations proved to be a wonderful immersion into these two magnificent historical events, with other Biblical teachings immersed throughout,” noted Pastor Heck. “It is a true Biblical-faith-life-affirming adventure, giving great visuals and explanations to the Scriptural teachings which the students have learned in much detail through the years of their instruction in the Christian education within Saint Timothy.”
He added, “What an awesome youth group trip! Every youth group ought to take this trip—and invite others in the congregation to go along.”
