To the editor:
Thursday, Dec. 20th marks the end of a career that has spanned over three decades for Mary Reed at the Jefferson County Farm Bureau. Having had the pleasure of working with Mary for 12 of those, I can tell you first-hand the positive impact she has had on everyone that has come through the doors of the Fairfield Office.
'Mother Mary,” as many of the volunteers have affectionately called her, has been the guiding force in a lot of the great things the Jefferson County Farm Bureau has done over the years.
Personally, I'd like to say thank you, Mary, for your guidance, patience and dedication you have shown me over the past dozen years. I truly have been blessed to have you be a part of my professional career. On behalf of the many volunteers, members and the Jefferson County Farm Bureau Board of Directors, we wish you and Dick well on your future endeavors and thank you for all you have done for us – you will be missed!
