Continue to make blankets for kids

To the editor:
I read with sincere interest the article about inmates in Mt. Pleasant making blankets for Stead Children's Hospital.
As a grandma who has spent one third of her 3-month-old granddaughter's life in this hospital, I see a need.
I'm told that right now there are 135 children in the hospital. My granddaughter isn't old enough to receive a blanket but many are. Just walking down the halls you can see a need for love that many children have. Receiving a blanket that a stranger made and donated would go a long way to making these children feel loved.
Please continue to make these blankets. It's a great thing you are doing.
