Funding mental health programs in schools is doable

To the editor,
Fred Stark's letter to the editor in the Sept. 11, Union titled 'Support needed for mental health programs in schools,” was really on target. I can hear the cry now, 'but where are you going to get the money?”
I think there would be plenty of money available if the tax on the drug of choice was significantly increased.
That drug ... alcohol.
