To the editor,
In yesterday's paper, Tuesday, May 14, I noticed the police log, two arrests for driving while barred, one for the sixth time and the other the 19th violation. This seems to be a local pastime in Washington. These people do not have insurance, so if they damage you, you will pay. I believe in giving a second chance, but after this many violations, they do not belong in jail, but rather prison. Our judges need to solve this problem and if they cannot, they should be replaced.
David Draheim, Washington
