Thanks for moving fireworks to fairgrounds

To the editor:
A huge 'thank you” to whoever was responsible for the fireworks being at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds this year. A friend and I enjoyed them from the bleachers, but there are also numerous places where people could enjoy them from the comfort of their car or a lawn chair, which is especially nice for those with mobility issues.
And I'm sure the residents of Sunnybrook Assisted Living and Carrington Point enjoyed watching them from their patios. After the display, exiting the area is much easier. Again, thank you!
