117th Annual McCreedy reunion held July 4

The descendents of Alexander and Sarah (McLaughlin) Mccreedy met for their 117th McCreedy Family Reunion on July 4, at the Ainsworth Community Church with hostess: Karen McCreedy and her family: Nancy McCreedy, Washington; Dale McCreedy, Anamosa; Tony and Jill Hubbard, Coralville; and Colton Covington, Iowa City.

Others in attendance were: Mike and Margaret McCreedy of Conroe, Texas; Ray and June Watkins of Dyer, Indiana; Tim and Kim Rees and family of North Liberty; Oscar and Wynne Steele of Riverside; Eugene Steele of Riverside; Dennis Steele of Coralville; Neal and Karen Megchelsen; Zach and Rachel Carstensen and Kase; Stan and Deb McCreedy, and Jim and Penny McCreedy, all of Ainsworth.

The hosts for next year will be Tim and Kim Rees and family.
