The 4-H and ISU Extension and Outreach hope to build a strong Iowa and give back to the communities among Washington County and make a positive and healthy impact on those who experience food needs. In honor of Washington County Extensions' 100th birthday this year, they have set a goal to package 100 meals.
The goal is to collect, package and deliver certain food items to HACAP that will prepare a healthy meal 'Chicken Enchilada Bake” from ISU Healthy and Homemade Cookbook.
